5 reasons it's time to rebrand.

Do you cringe every time you see your logo? Did you not really give it much thought in the beginning? Maybe you love your logo but don't know how it will work across all platforms, your website, social media etc. Let's have a look at 5 reasons why really now is the time to sort it out, it'll be painless, I promise!

Maybe you've decided to specialise in one area or add more strings to your bow. You might have moved premises, changed management or completely started a fresh.

Communicate your news at the same time as updating your brand, catch the eyes of not just existing clients but new ones as well. Your website, social and email communications can all use new colours, logos and fonts to showcase your fresh new start.

Sometimes your name choice seems perfect at the beginning of your new business journey but as time moves on you realise you are aiming at entirely the wrong audience, it might be too gimmicky for you, not professional enough. This can have a massive impact on potential clients interacting with you, remember first impressions matter.

I have to say, this was one of the reason's I chose to rebrand myself. Designing for yourself is harder than you think! 3 years went by before I realised it just didn't say enough about me, my use colour, my style, it had to go! I spent too long trying to be like others so I asked myself the same questions I ask my clients and went with it!

I've worked with so many clients that just got a logo in the beginning, it's usually what most people can afford. I like to look at the bigger picture, where are you going to be using that logo?

I guarantee it won't just be on a website, you'll have business cards, maybe shop signs, flyers, a social media presence. All these need to have your distinct look and feel. That is where a brand identity is so much stronger than just a logo. It also makes life so much more easier for yourself if you know how your business is meant to look.

Want to aim to a specific market? Then make sure your branding does the same. Advertise your new look in the right places and get noticed by your target audience.

A fresh new look will always catch eyes and draw new people in.
